October Wedding Cake

This was a last minute wedding cake order. The order came in just 2 weeks ago, but I think it was pulled off nicely! The base of each tier was suppose to have a "belt" of rhinestones around it and the top was suppose to have a their initials in rhinestones, but unfortunately FedEx lost the brides order so the rhinestones never showed up. Luckily the bride found this out before the big day and was able to find this wonderful shimmer ribbon that helped the cake "pop." The flavor and fillings alternated chocolate with cheesecake and white with strawberries...yummy!

Crayon Cake

I had a cake order put in two months ago...the Mom wanted to give me lots of time to figure out a crayon cake. So I researched it a little bit, did some math on what size the crayons would need to be to look the right size coming out of the cake size they needed, and I finally decided to make some cake pops look like crayons. Over all I think it turned out pretty good! I had 3 extra crayons so Keith, Packer and I each had one....and I have to say, they weren't half bad! Last time I had a cake pop I wasn't a big fan, but these were better!

The body of the crayon was cake pop, the tip was melting chocolate.

Very Hungry Caterpillar

We had a Very Hungry Caterpillar Party at our house last week. I can't believe we are already celebrating this little guy's First Birthday! Oh how time flies.

It's a Boy

Cupcake order for a Baby Shower. I think they turned out so cute!

Pink and Brown Birthday

I had a Mom order a pink and brown birthday cake for her little girl's first birthday. I love how the bow and stars make the top of the cake "pop"!

Cupcakes for a Cause

A few weeks ago my sister's friend lost her little boy to cancer. To help this friend pay for funeral costs, my sister held a bake sale where all money donated went to this family. So I made some yummy and fun looking cupcakes to add to the sale items. The sunflowers were made of oreos (super cute and super fast!) The chocolate fountains were made with melting chocolates and had a peanut butter filling. Over all the bake sale was able to raise $500.00 for this family in need!
